Warrior Kids Muay Thai Classes
At Lewis Center and Gahanna Locations
Warrior Kids Muay Thai Kickboxing offers fun, high-energy classes where kids learn powerful striking techniques while building strength and confidence. This class helps children develop focus, discipline, and important life skills in a safe and supportive setting.
Kids love Muay Thai classes because they’re fast-paced, exciting, and full of movement. Classes often feel like games, with pad work and partner drills that make learning feel like play.
Why Muay Thai for Kids
Muay Thai is one of the most complete striking arts there is, and for children that translates into a workout which never feels like one. Every round asks them to move their feet, keep their balance, and time a technique correctly — skills that carry into any other sport they play. Because so much of the work is done on pads with a coach or a partner, children get immediate feedback and a clear sense of improving week to week.
Warrior Kids Muay Thai Kickboxing Program
Ages 7–15
Our Kids Muay Thai program teaches striking skills in a fun, safe, and high-energy environment. Students learn punches, kicks, knees, and elbows while building confidence, discipline, and fitness.
In each class, kids will:
Learn proper technique through drills and pad work
Improve focus, coordination, and self-control
Build confidence and respect through structured training
Led by skilled instructors using a world class curriculum, this program helps kids stay active, learn real self-defense, and develop a strong, respectful mindset.
What a Warrior Kids Muay Thai class looks like
Classes are built around movement. A typical session opens with a warm-up, moves into shadow work and technique, then into pad and bag rounds where children practise what they have just been shown. Coaches group students by age and experience, and drills are structured so that everyone is working rather than queuing.
When can my child start?
Warrior Kids Muay Thai Kickboxing is for ages 7 to 15. Younger children start in Lil Warriors (ages 4 to 6), and students aged 7 to 9 who are new to martial arts usually begin in Kids Fundamentals before moving up to Warrior Kids. From 16, students train in our general adult classes. No previous experience is needed, and children can join at any point in the year.
What your child will need
Comfortable athletic clothing and a water bottle are enough for a first class. Muay Thai is trained barefoot on matted flooring. Students who continue will need gloves and hand wraps, and our coaches will advise on sizing and what to buy before you spend anything.
What children take away
Muay Thai asks children to coordinate their hands, feet, and balance at the same time, which is demanding in a way that keeps them engaged. Alongside the physical side, the structure of a class — lining up, listening, drilling a technique until it improves — builds focus and self-control that parents tend to notice at home and at school.
Where we teach it
